My Aunt Ruby took us in after my father died. Things she taught me:
Not to yell in the house.
Not to yell in the yard.
Family is family and all are welcome in your house.
Don't drink beer.
Wash your ears so potatoes don't grow out of them.
My Uncle Melvin treated me like one of his own sons. Things he taught me:
Don't stand on the back of the couch or I will make you stand on the back of the couch.
Don't jump on the bed or I will make you jump on the bed.
Be kind and help everyone you can. Especially family.
How to cut okra.
How to snap a chicken's head off with your bare hands and watch it flopped all over the yard.
Don't drink beer around family.
Love your family.

Mo Clann part 2
My Grandma McGowan helped raise me. Things she taught me.
To place a chicken's head under a board and pull on it's leg until it's head pops off and it flops around headless all over the place.
The proper difference in the pronunciations between the words "pin" and "pen".
To not drink beer.
"God has always taken care of me and I guess he always will."
Love family equally.
My Grandma Tyler cooked for me. Things she taught me.
To appreciate music.
Pick cherries.
Pit cherries.
Eat cherry cobbler.
Love your family.
My Grandpa Tyler took me everywhere with him. Things he taught me:
Grow fruits and vegetables.
Harvest fruits and vegetables.
Let Grandma Tyler cook harvested fruits and vegetables.
Use patience when fishing.
If your not in bed by 11, you might as well come on home.
Don't drink too much beer.
Love family.

Mo Clann part 1
My father died when I was three. Things he taught me:
Shoot a .22 rifle.
Drink beer.
Love family.
That is all I remember about him.
My mother raised me. Things she taught me:
Go to school.
Be good.
Make good grades.
Don't drink beer.
Be nice to everyone.
How to wash dishes and do laundry.
Love the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals.
Love family.
I am still learning from her.
My sister bossed me. Things I learned from her:
How to eat mud.
To confess to things you didn't do to get to watch tv.
Where mom hid the Christmas presents.
It is okay for me to like beer. She prefers wine.
Love family.

God's Will
I sit here contemplating God's will in this world. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am wondering if us followers are supposed to fight this move to a one world government or to help it materialize. Revelation says it is going to happen. Are we going against God's will if we are fighting it? Or should we fight against it and know it is going to happen anyway?
